Your privacy is important to Skuad Pte Ltd. and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Boundless Technologies Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Skuad (“Skuad”, “our”, “we,” or “us”). It is Skuad’s policy to respect your privacy and comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding any personal information we may collect about you. Personal information is any information about you which can be used to identify you, e.g. your name, email address, and in some circumstances, information about your device such as your IP address.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes our data protection practices when we collect, use, process, disclose and transfer personal information through your use of our websites, mobile applications and the Payoneer Workforce Management (WFM) Platform (together “Services”).

Information we collect and when we collect it

We may collect your personal information in a number of circumstances, such as when:

  • You sign up to receive updates from us via email or social media channels
  • You use a mobile device or web browser to access our content
  • You contact us via email, social media, or any similar technologies

Information we collect falls into one of two categories: “voluntarily provided” information and “automatically collected” information.

Automatically collected information

Log data

When do we disclose your personal information

We may share your personal information where necessary with the parties and in the circumstances set out below for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Our other group companies.
  • Third-party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services, including (without limitation) IT service providers, data storage, hosting and server providers, analytics, error loggers, debt collectors, maintenance or problem-solving providers, professional advisors, and payment systems operators.

However, it is important to note that due to the inherent nature of communication and information processing technology, we cannot guarantee absolute security against external intrusions while transmitting data over the internet or when it is stored in our systems. Additionally, when you click on a link leading to a third-party website, please be aware that you will be leaving our site, and we do not have control over or endorse the content found on such third-party sites.

You are responsible for selecting any password and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services. For example, ensuring that any passwords associated with accessing your personal information and accounts are secure and confidential.

How long we keep your personal information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need to fulfil the purposes mentioned in this Policy. This time period may depend on what we are using your information for, and as required by applicable law, in accordance with our data retention policy. For instance, if you have provided personal information while creating an account, we may retain this data as long as your account remains active on our system. If your personal information is no longer required for such purposes, we will promptly delete it or anonymise it by removing any identifiable details.

To ensure the safe and thorough management of your personal information, we adhere to a deletion process that aims to either completely remove your data from our servers or retain it solely in anonymised form. Our Services are designed to protect against accidental or malicious deletion of information. However, it’s important to note that there may be occasional delays between the time you initiate a deletion and when copies are effectively removed from both our active and backup systems.

Children’s privacy

We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under 16. If you become aware that someone under the age of 16 has unlawfully provided us with personal information, please reach out to us, and we will promptly take measures to delete such information.

International data transfers

If you are in the EEA or the UK, and we transfer your information to a third-party located outside of the EEA/UK or a country without an adequacy decision by the European Commission/UK government, we will ensure that these third parties enter into an agreement that includes appropriate safeguards for your information. This will be achieved through the use of EU Model Clauses (SCCs) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

In certain cases, we may request government identification as part of the verification process.
